The Medea Gallery Artists Co-op had to leave its longtime Osborne Village location in the fall of 2013. Since that time, the remaining artist members have managed to work together to organize a number of exhibitions at various venues including; the St. Norbert Arts Centre, Warehouse Artworks, Frame of Mind Gallery, Gwen Fox Gallery, Mona Lisa Restaurant and the Begonia Grill.

Arrangements for personal viewing of work can be made by e-mailing info@medeagallery.ca.

Medea Gallery was established in 1976 as Winnipeg's first Artists' Co-operative. Members have recently decided not to continue as a fregistered co-op but to go forward as a more informal group of friends and artists.

Medea Gallery Artists Group believes everyone should be able to own original fine art: therefore we offer original fine art at reasonable prices.

Medea Gallery artists were saddened to learn of the passing of artist and colleague Bill Shoup last week. Bill was a long time dedicated member of Medea. He was a fine artist, teacher and gentlemen. He will be long and fondly remembered.

WILLIAM EDWARD SHOUP With great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Bill on Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Concordia Hospital. Bill was predeceased by his parents Herman and Evelyn, and sister Carole. Bill will be sadly missed by his wife Adeline, son Nicholas, and sister Gayle Poulot. In keeping with Bill's wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
